I just had cheek filler done a few weeks ago to help with the indents next to my nose and under my eyes. It didn’t really help that spot but did help with the flatness in my face but I think it made my under eyes look more hollow. Do I need more filler there or do I now need under eye filler to help? Also is PRF better to get under my eyes instead? My main concern is the indents next to my nose and under eye darkness and hollows. Thanks!
Answer: Dark Circles/Eye Bags/Wrinkles - Fillers (Belotero, Juvederm Volbella); Lasers (Fraxel/CO2); Renuvion; Microneedling/PRP; Peels At home peels like cosmelan, enlighten and aerify along with dermarolling (MTS roller with anteage MD ampules) should be started now. There are many things you can do to treat under eye hollows and dark circles. A surgical option to remove skin and/or fat will such as lower eyelid blepharoplasty with or without fat pad repositioning will be the best long term. There are many things you can do to treat under eye hollows and dark circles without surgery. Non invasive less downtime options such as fillers (Belotero, Juvederm Volbella), lasers (Moxi/Halo/Fraxel/CO2), Renuvion (J-Plasma), microneedling/PRP, stem cells and microneedling RF like Fractora PiXel8 or Morpheus can all help give some improvement. Accutite can often be used or stronger lasers like erbium or co2 spot treatment can tighten the skin and give very quick improvement in wrinkles and texture. A surgical option to remove skin and/or fat might be the best solution long-term. I suggest you get a formal consultation to see what is best for you and your goals. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Tear trough injections: what you should know Thank you for your question and photos. Hyaluronic acid fillers injected around the tear trough can volumize the skin and smooth out the visible groove that causes a hollow appearance. By restoring subtle volume and reducing discoloration, dermal fillers can refresh the eyes for results that can last for approximately 6-12 months, depending on the formula used. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified injector who can asses your previous injection history and suggest the best course of action to address the hollowed under-eye appearance you describe.

Answer: Filler for Undereyes and Midface Thank you for sharing your questions and photos. If injected properly the fillers should improve the hollows under the eyes and give more volume to the rest of the face. Make an appointment with an experienced Oculoplastic Surgeon for comprehensive evaluation and proper guidance. Good luck!

Answer: Undereye Hollowing Hi and thanks for the question! You would be a great candidate for tear trough filler to help in this area. Products like Restylane-L and Belotero are what I would recommend specifically for this location. PRF or PRP help with collagen stimulation but would not provide the volume you would need in the area so filler is your best bet. Best of luck on your journey

Answer: Best to be seen in person Best to be seen in person to evaluate the area and where exactly the filler is, as it is tough to tell from just these photographs. You may need some volume in your undereyes (and possibly in your pyriform/deep medial cheek region) to smooth the appearance of the region and make it blend with the filler now in your cheeks.
