8 months post-op, why can I feel lumps under left side of my chest? (Photos)

Question

I recently started noticing soft lumps under the left side of my chest, and it makes the nipple look a little puffy. It has been 8 months since my gyno surgery and the right side turned out pretty great. But since the last 1 month, I have been noticing these lumps and it makes me pretty anxious, could it be gyno coming back, it also hurts when I try to massage the left side area. As you can see in the photos, the right side looks perfectly flat, but the left side has that gyno look.

It's possible there is residual glandular tissue.  It is also possible scar tissue has formed.  It is difficult to say from the photos.  It is unusual for there to be pain, however.  I suggest you follow-up with your doctor and see if they can evaluate why you're having these issues.  Alternatively, you get another opinion with someone with a lot of experience in gynecomastia surgery.

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.
