Transconjunctival blepharoplasty 1 week ago. Lump under my eye is hard and painful (photos)

Question

I've had transconjunctival blepharoplasty a week and two days ago(05/30). Most of the bruising has gone down but I have worries. I can't really notice any changes and I now have this lump under my eye that is hard and it hurt at times. It's my left eye I don't really see it under my right.

There can significant swelling and even lumpy firmness.  This can all be normal.  However, that is not the answer you need.  The answer you need can only come from your operative surgeon.  They may need to see you or they may feel comfortable enough to see you at your next schedule post operative visit.  I personally see my post operative lower eyelid surgery patients the day after surgery, 7 days after surgery and 3 weeks after surgery assuming everything is going smoothly.

See your surgeon ASAP - either residual fat or a small hematoma. But over the internet can not be sure....

I always tell my patients not to look too much in the first week. It's way too early to draw any conclusions and my advice at this point would be to follow up with your surgeon. Good luck!

It is to early to tell. You need to follow with the surgeon who operated on you and gently massage your eyelids as he probably instructed you.

I suggest that you consult your surgeon. You may have a collection of blood under the skin, called a hematoma. Alternatively, there might be residual fat that could be removed after all swelling has resolved and the skin and muscle have softened.
