Do you have a pretty significant dimple that’s fairly high up on your chin and I have a feeling that you are related.
I suggest consulting with oral surgeons, plastic surgeons or facial plastic surgeons in your community and see what each one has to say.
My best guess is that whatever is causing the dimpling is the primary issue.
It would be a good idea to bring pictures of you as a child to see how it’s changed over time.
It would also be good to know if there’s any history of trauma or injury or previous procedures done in that area.
