The compression vest worn post gynecomastia surgery.. Is it recognisable to others when wore under a T-shirt or a shirt?

The compression vest which is supposed to be worn after the gynecomastia surgery does it look odd to others when it is worn under the clothes .. I mean is it uncomfortable in day to day life ...do people make out that he is wearing something under the clothes..cause i don't want that..
