Wavy incision line vs straight?

Abdominoplasty or tummy tuck requires a long abdominal scar. Placement of the scar differs from one surgeon to another. The best scar location is one that is as low as possible so it is not visible through bikinis. Sometimes the center part is much higher due to location of the belly button and or lack of excess skin above the umblicus. Discuss the location of the scar and the hight of the center part of the scar with your ps so you are not surperised with the final result.

Your best bet is to look at photographs of the surgeons work to determine which outcomes you judge to be the best.

A qualified plastic surgeon we'll get you an excellent result with either technique. Discuss all of this with a potential treating plastic surgeon and look at some all their pre-and postoperative pictures. Best of luck.

A curved incision will allow you to have a lower incision at the suprapubic area thus wearing a bathing suit with no scar show but it increases the risk for nubmness in that area. Seek a plastic surgeon who performs hundreds of these procedures, has great reviews, and is an expert in this field

I don't think it makes much difference what type of incision is used, what is important is to keep the incision as low as possible and make sure it is hidden in your panty lines.  

Thanks for your question; a low and curved scar is preferable because it can be covered easier by interior clothes; straight scars tend to be higher; discuss this with your plastic surgeon so he can tell you which would be the appearance of your scar.Regards.
