There's really not much this need after liposuction. A compressive garment will be provided by your surgeon. Outside of that you should be up and about the next day without much difficulty.
Each surgeon will have a different protocol for post-liposuction and you would need to ask your own surgeon. I provide a checklist for all of my patients as do many of my colleagues. If your surgeon is not prepared enough to be able to answer this question for you then perhaps your should consider another surgeon. Make sure you use a board-certified plastic surgeon for your liposuction as other physicians are not nearly as extensively trained in this procedure. Best of luck!
This is very specific to each doctor. I have a packet that is given to each patient with a checklist of items and we give a bag that has all the major necessities. I suggest you speak to your physician. If you were not given a list or packet discussing your post operative care, I suggest going to another physician who is an expert and has a body contouring practice. Best, Dr. Emer.
Thanks for your question. Every plastic surgeon has different instructions, so please consult with your surgeon.
Every doctor is going to price liposuction differently. I usually include all liposuction I can reach from the front with my tummy tucks at no charge. The back is usually divided into upper and lower...and I always do BOTH sides :-)You look very similar to Cases 3 and 5 on my website.
Calf and ankle lipo sculpture is performed frequently. However I recommend a bit of sedation in addition to local anesthesia.
I think you'll start to see some softening immediately. Massage however I think will aggravate the condition not improve it.
