Can a person have Sono Bello performed if they have had an abdominal hernia repaired with mesh?

Lipo of abdomen. Can it be done if have had repair of abd hernia 30 years ago?

yes you can do hernia repair and liosuction at the same time or have liposuciton after a hernia. I would suggest hormonal optimization before to keep the abdominal wall strong (see link) and go to an expert as damage to this mesh could be devastating to you.  Best, Dr. Emer.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Generally speaking, it is possible to get liposuction after hernia repair with mesh. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Sono bello is a trademarked name for a company that offers Liposuction.  Sono bello is not a procedure.  sonobello offers laser liposuction which they have trademarked under the name Trisculpt.
The procedure is laser assisted Liposuction.
Generally speaking most plastic surgeons are OK doing Liposuction with or without laser assistance on someone with a repaired abdominal hernia including  with the use of the mesh.
It may potentially put you at slight increased risk for medical complications.The increased risk is fairly minimal but potential medical complications can be serious.
Sonobello typically does consultations using aggressive commissioned sales people without meeting physician.
Their standard is to meet with the doctor after you’ve purchased the procedure.
I suggest reading the reviews for this company and other providers in your area and deciding for yourself who should or where is an appropriate person or place to do Liposuction.
Personally I would never consider having surgery without meeting the surgeon during an in person consultation.
Sono bello does not do good or bad work. They have talented and some not so talented providers working for them.
Their reviews speak for themselves.
It is the largest cosmetic surgery corporation in the world.
Personally I think you’re better off consulting with individual plastic surgeons in your community.
Sono Bello does have talented plastic surgeons working for them but you don’t always get to choose.
I suggest calling plastic surgeons, meeting in person and discussing your concerns and reviewing your medical history appropriately.
Some plastic surgeons may have different concerns or views regarding previous hernia repairs with mesh.
The only opinion that really matters is the surgeon who will be doing your procedure.
Please focus on high-quality proper consultations.
