6 months post op and my breast look almost as bad as before. Is this considered acceptable? (Photo)

Question

Originally had 400cc saline under the muscle implants. 6 months ago had a Breast Lift with 435cc in my left and 415cc in my right silicone smooth round moderate implants over the muscle, to correct capsular contracture on the right breast and make them the same size. I am so unhappy with the results and when I asked my doctor, he just put me on singular and moncycline and told me to massage the left more. Is this the best outcome I can hope for? I feel like I need a revision.

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

At six months post op you are seeing your final results.  In order to improve asymmetry a revision would be needed.  The larger breast could be downsized further and/or differently sized implants used.  If you are not satisfied with your surgeon's recommendations you can visit with another board certified plastic surgeon for a second opinion.

Thank you for sharing the pictures,if you don't want to go for a 3rd breast surgery then you might keep them the same for now,but if you're unhappy with the size and shape difference ,you can have another one done to fix the previous surgery..As your implants are over the muscles,it's expected that they might drop a bit more by time.

Based on your series of nice post of photos, I agree you need a revision and a downsizing of the larger breast as far as implant size and reacting. Expect these to range in the $10,000-$15,000 areas. Best to virtual consult with.
