Can a lipoma cover your entire left butt? (Photo)

Question

It started out the size of a nickel and grew the size of a soft ball. Went to doctor and was told its a lipoma and surgery scheduled Jan 4. Got home saw its way bigger. Is it still lipoma if it covers your butt to?

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  Lipomas can grow to considerable size, albeit slowly and with little danger to surrounding tissues.  Size can often be estimated based on an in-person examination.Hope this helps.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Lipoma can grow significantly. If you are concerned, I would suggest you to discuss it with your plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
