Question

I know there is a surgery that can make the eyes appear closer together, I think it’s called an epicanthoplasty. Although I don’t have much of an epicanthal fold. My eyes are just a few millimeters apart from what I’d prefer. It’s bothered me for a long time, & it ruins my facial harmony. It’s crazy how just a couple of millimeters can throw off my entire facial harmony. Pls help !! I’m seriously considering undergoing major surgery to fix this, but there has to be other options.

Yes you are very perceptive! You do not have an epicanthal fold, but yes your eyes are slightly apart. To improve this, volume augmentation of the radix will make it appears your eye are closer together. To try this out, you can use fillers (which can be dissolve if you don't like it) first. Then if you like it, a better long term solution is either fat grafting if you just want a small difference, or closed rhinoplasty augmentation of the radix area with fascia from your own body, or injection of fresh frozen cartilage that have been refined to tiny powder/pieces. this can potentially be done under local anesthesia with some IV sedation.

hello. If you do not benefit much from this surgery. as you mentioned you don’t have much of an epicanthal foldeyelids , but your of the Radix of the nose is wide, there is not much that can be done for this.
