Hi everyone I have been looking into Radio frequency, forma, Thermage and Ultherapy to tighten and rejuvenate the skin around my eye to look more lifted. I’m only 30, I do some Botox in my crows feet but I want a little more tight and snatched result. I looked into some procedures but it looks like the side effect of skin tightening procedures are fat loss in the area and I really don’t want my under eye to get more hollow. So what’s the best procedure for under eye to look 10 years younger?

Answer: Opus Plasma! We are seeing excellent results using Opus Plasma in the delicate areas around the eyes to address "crepey" skin, for a more "snatched" look! Skin elasticity is caused by the breakdown of collagen and elastin, two proteins within the skin responsible for giving it its firmness and elasticity. Aging, overexposure to the sun (photodamage) and genetics all play a role in contributing toward skin laxity as we age. Opus Plasma skin tightening, or plasma skin resurfacing (formerly known as J. Plasma), is a nonsurgical cosmetic procedure that uses plasma to tighten skin and combat the skin laxity caused by aging and photo-damage. Plasma skin tightening uses radio frequency (RF) energy to ionize, or convert, gas into plasma. When the plasma comes in contact with your epidermis (the outer layer of skin), it generates heat and removes oxygen from the surface of your skin without ablating, or vaporizing, the epidermis. This generated heat also breaks down the collagen in the dermis, the layer of skin beneath the epidermis, and triggers fibroplasia, your body’s wound-healing response. During fibroplasia, fibroblast activity is increased, which produces new collagen around the treated eyes! We've seen success using this both below/next to the eyes, as well as the eyelid area.

Answer: Under Eye Treatment Options Great question! If you feel that your under eye is hollow or sunken in, under eye filler could be a good option for you. To help strengthen the skin under the eyes and reduce fine lines, RF microneedling can help boost collagen production and tighten the skin. Hope that helps!
