Since botched fat graft, I spent months not being able to carry on a normal life. I've made up my mind to remove, or attempt to reverse this grafted fat. I understand what the difference is in terms of mechanism btw Vaserlipo vs traditional vs Laser-assisted lipo. For fat graft removal, which one is the most effective, given that my goal is to remove the grafted fat as much as possible within safe limits?
Answer: Best Way to Remove Fat Graft Using VASER Liposuction hank you for your question regarding the best way to remove fat graft. I'm sorry for your unhappy results. I recommend VASER Hi Def liposuction for revisions. VASER Hi Def liposuction is an advanced liposuction technique that utilizes ultrasound technology to precisely target and break down fat cells. The process begins with the injection of a tumescent fluid, which helps to numb the area and shrink blood vessels, reducing the risk of blood loss and bruising. Once the area is prepared, the VASER probe emits ultrasonic energy that gently breaks down fat cells while preserving surrounding tissues such as nerves, blood vessels, and connective tissue. The liquefied fat is then suctioned out using a specialized cannula. The benefits of VASER Hi Def liposuction include: Precision: The ultrasonic waves allow for targeted fat removal, which is especially useful for sculpting and defining muscles. Less Trauma: The gentle nature of the ultrasound waves causes less damage to surrounding tissues compared to traditional liposuction, leading to reduced pain, swelling, and bruising. Skin Retraction: The heat generated by the ultrasound waves stimulates collagen production, which can help tighten the skin in the treated area, reducing the risk of loose skin post-procedure. Efficiency: VASER liposuction is effective at breaking down and removing both small and large volumes of fat, making it suitable for a variety of areas on the body. Given these benefits, VASER Hi Def liposuction is highly effective for revision surgeries, such as removing grafted fat. It allows for a more precise and refined result, helping to achieve your desired outcome safely. Good luck. I hope I’ve answered your question regarding fat graft removal. Sincerely, J. Answer: Liposuction Any type of liposuction can work. You were not specific about your fat graft so I cannot be specific. However, the power assisted device or ultrasound assisted would be helpful to get through the scarring.

Answer: Fat transfer Theoretically baser or laser liposuction fat would not work as well since the fat cells are killed before suctioning. In my opinion fat transfer is a poor operation even in the best cases

Answer: Removing grafted fat There is no yes or no answer to your question. Everything is based on context. Most people who are looking to have previously grafted fat removed have had facial fat grafting. There are many variables to take in the consideration and Liposuction may or may not be appropriate, depending on the context and anatomic location. To make an assessment we at a minimum need a complete set of proper before and after pictures. Without an assessment, we can’t prescribe a recommended treatment. Consider reposting with a complete set of proper before and after pictures or better yet schedule multiple in person consultations with plastic surgeons in your community. The type of Liposuction is fairly irrelevant in comparison to provider selection. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
