Can Liposuction remove scar tissue from a c-section c-shelf?

Liposuction is for removing excess fat, not scars. An indented scar is not fat and while breaking it up with a liposuction cannula may initially release it so that it is not as indented, the scar will reform over time. Liposuction above the scar and below the scar may make the scar appear less indented now that the tissue above and below the scar is at the same level. Liposuction will not remove the scar tissue as this is not what it’s intended to do. If your scar is very depressed, you may get a better overall result with a simple scar revision. Discuss this in detail with your plastic surgeon.

This is a common problem in this particular area. I can't help you too much without seeing photographs. Often, I would liposuction the area and directly excise the scar as well as some of the skin above it. This area often has loose skin and removal of this may produce a very nice effect. The trade-off is a longer scar.

Liposuction the fat above and around the c-sec scar and free-up the scar by undermining the scar all at the same time under local will fix the problem easily.

That is one solution. The other is to combine liposuction with a scar revision so the scar isn’t stuck to the muscle anymore. Your issue is a very common one. I would probably do a scar revision. Pretty simple to do.

Yes, the excess fat can be easily removed under the shelf of the C section scar in the area of the pubis and above the scar if needed. I have done this many times.

Once fat has been removed, using liposuction, it does not regrow. Liposuction is a permanent and irreversible procedure.
To make an assessment regarding the outcome of a plastic surgery procedure we always need to see proper before and after pictures.
Liposuction it’s not particularly useful for removing scar tissue, and will generally simply create more scar tissue.

Delivering consistent quality, liposuction, results is more difficult than most people realize. The number of plastic surgeons who truly mastered this procedure are in a small minority. Being bored, certified in plastic surgery with years of experience in an overall good reputation does not mean if somebody has mastered anyone single procedure especially not Liposuction
