Pain killers and Morpheus8. Are there any contraindications with Ultram and Norco?

Question

I took Ultram and Norco for two days for a trial spinal implant which ended today (Friday and Saturday) ... I'm getting Morpheus8 in 3 days (Thursday) ... 1. are there any contra indications with Ultram and Norco the week of 2. can I take either the day of Morpheus8 to help with pain management?

There are no contraindications with Morpheus 8 and Ultram and Norco.  Medications that we would want to be avoided would be any kind of anti-inflammatory or antihistamine.  These types of medications would possibly decrease the response that you get with a Morpheus 8 treatment.  We want for there to be some redness and swelling.  The body uses those inflammatory reactions to create better results.  We also would prefer for anyone having a Morpheus treatment to avoid any kind of NSAIDS, such as aspirin, ibuprophen, Motrin, Aleve.  These types of medications cause you to bleed easier and increase your risk of bruising.

There are no contraindications for you to take Ultram or Norco after your Morpheus8 treatments.  These are both narcotic medications.  NSAIDs should be avoided, such as ibuprofen and naproxen sodium, as well as aspirin.  I encourage you to discuss your medications with your provider as well as any supplements you take.
