Open roof 10 months after Preservation Rhinoplasty - is there a chance it will look straight again?

Im 10 months post op after a preservation rhino. I have been feeling a slid in the bone on one side next to my septum since i was a few months post op. I saw my surgeon last months and he said its completely normal after the preservation technique because the bones are moved inwards and there will be callus growth to close the slid, but it seems weird to mm after so long that will still happen. Can i still hav hope it will close and look straight again?

Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photo your nose bone might not be relocate like you wish. It would be better to talk with your surgeon about it. I recommend you revision rhinoplasty for fix the bone because it looks like crooked to the one side.It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation. Best Regards!

If there is still swelling over the nasal bones, when the swelling decreases it could make the contour irregularities appear less obvious. This may or may not happen over time and it is difficult to work out how much swelling you still have at this point. Central facial bones tend to heal without callus formation, but sometimes callus can occur.

If the contours remain uneven, in your configuration it would be possible to use injectable filler for produce a smoother appearance.

From your description of the events, it seems that there may have been a late displacement due to progressive changes in the support of the nasal bridge at the keystone area.
