I got a rhinoplasty to make my wide, flat nose (African American) a lot smaller. When my cast was removed, my nose was very swollen but over time it got smaller. By month 4 it was small and looked defined. It looked great and I assumed it would only get better over time. But now it’s a year later, and it’s bigger than it was at month 4. It got bigger and less defined over time. It’s almost as if my nose is trying to go back to its original size/shape. Why is this happening? What can be done?
