5 years post op & columella feels weird after I picked my nose, & lips look flatter - unsure what to do?

It’s been 5 years since my rhinoplasty surgery and the other day I picked my nose (not even violently, just a little bit) and my columnella feels weird and it’s like I popped something out of place. My lips look different, too. I know that there are muscles (or something like that) holding it to the lips and my philtrum area doesn’t feel as tight anymore. My lips look flatter!! I’m so distressed and unsure of what to do!

Only on the basis of in person evaluation, one experienced plastic surgeon with expertise in rhinoplasty, could give you some idea what happened and how to fix it. It would be best to discuss this with your original surgeon. Good luck.

It is possible there is a cartilage graft in your columella. There’s probably no problems but you should see your surgeon to determine if There is an issue
