Microneedling and Hydroquinone on Bikini Area? (Photo)

Hi! I have PIH and burns from getting IPL on my bikini area after a plastic surgeon recommended a series of treatments to get rid of dark spots from years of waxing and ingrowns. Ultimately, the IPL laser made it so much worse after 3 sessions. I started laser hair removal to address the root issue but now I am left with intense PIH. A derm recommended microneedling series and hydroquinone... just hoping to get other opinions if this would work. I am Fitzpatrick 4
