Unevenness and scar tissue - Is lipo revision the right choice? (Photos)

I had Liposuction 360 about 5 years ago. Apart from some red discoloration I have on my back and torso, that appears to be permanent, I have some unevenness & some scar tissue. I was told by a Plastic surgeon that we could remove some fat from the lower abdomen and upper back to even out the abdomen and fix irregularities, using laser & renuvion to tighten some lose skin I have on the abdomen. My question is, how likely is it that laser lipo can cause worsening scar tissue? I have heard mixed reviews about laser lipo when it comes to revision lipo. I was also told the lipo wouldn’t be aggressive because there is not much to remove but rather feather the area evenly with fat transfer & create some definition. Massages will begin the day after surgery & garment etc. Should I be worried of worsening scar tissue & or irregularities? Do I have a higher risk of worsening rather than improving? This is something i’ve been very insecure since my first surgery & have been thinking about doing for years but do not want to be turn out worse. Please let me know your thoughts, thank you.

Your irregularities don't appear to be due to loose skin. Your abdomen has a typical appearance of uneven resection and scar tissue. The goal of a smooth contour requires release of scar tissue, removal of excess adiposity in some areas, and possibly fat grafting in other areas (depending how depleted the areas where dents exist). 20 years of data shows that this can be accomplished without the addition of energy based systems, which clearly adds another variable (thermal injury) to the healing process. You need someone with decades of experience, not someone with the latest high tech device and a good social media account.

If the first procedure was not done, well, leaving you with an uneven fat distribution then you should recognize that a secondary or revision Liposuction procedurebecomes technically one of the hardest procedures to do well.
There’s a significant chance that a secondary procedure can make things worse.
 You should absolutely vet the provider by insisting that they show you lots of before and after pictures of previous patients in the same situation who had same procedure, the surgeon is recommending.
Either the surgeon has experience and can show you examples of previous cases of revision Liposuction, or they don’t haveexperience and they would not have sufficient number of before and after pictures. In paragraph I do not see any indication for adding reunion or laser treatment paired in paragraph conservative in Office Liposuction removing some of the high spots, probably about right in my opinion.
Recognize that improving Liposuction results is extremely difficult and can easily make things worse.
The only way toconfirm that your surgeon has a skill and experience necessary is to have them show you a lot of before and after pictures of other patients with the same .
I would be cautious.
