Insurance coverage for unilateral reduction?

Hi! I have a significant breast asymmetry and some mild-moderate skin laxity post weight loss. I don’t actually mind my right (the bigger breast) but assume the best/easiest route aside from augmentation to even out the difference would be a single breast reduction. I’m 4’11, 98lbs and roughly an E Cup on my right side, Idk on my left. I think my insurance utilizes the Schnur Scale but I was wondering if it’s possible to get a single breast reduction covered by insurance? If not I’ll start saving

What you really need is a breast lift and possibly implants. Insurance is very unlikely to cover the costs of the surgery

Your breasts do not appear large enough to qualify for insurance coverage for breast reduction. You need more of a lift than reduction. The breast lift technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. The size can be adjusted to correct the asymmetry.
