How do I increase upper pole fullness without a lift? (photo)

I am wondering if I am a candidate for just a breast augmentation without a lift. To be honest, I do not really want bigger breasts as I measure as a 30G/H right now, but I also do not want to have a breast lift because of the scarring. I am only interested in increasing upper pole fullness with as minimal scarring as possible. I am wondering if I can instead do small (VERY small) implants in order to increase my upper pole fullness without increasing breast size too much.

Upper pole fullness is not affected by a lift. The most reliable way to deliver upper pole fullness is via augmentation.

With regards to your specific question, your nipple position appears to be preserved with only mild glandular ptosis/pseudoptosis. You would appear to be a reasonable candidate for conservation augmentation. This will deliver greater upper pole fullness with minimal scarring.

It doesn’t appear that you need a lift since your nipples are above your breast fold. A small implant may be sufficient to give you more upper pole fullness.

Thanks for your question! If you add an implant to breasts that are already large (and wide - this is the important part), then you are going to be larger. You are a little bit between a rock and a hard place. In the right hands, a breast lift can result in almost imperceptible scars. I would suggest a couple in person consultations. Good luck!

It seems you are a good candidate to consider increasing upper pole fullness.  This would require either fat grafting or a small implant.  I think a small implant is usually the better choice unless other factors are involved.  You and your plastic surgeon have to decide the best size implant to achieve your desired appearance.  Regarding the volume, you will absolutely have and increase in volume so you have to factor this into any decision.

upper pole fullness is achieved with appropriate implant selection but more importantly, submuscular placement, and precise pocket dissection. The submuscular placement allows the muscle to cover the top part of the implant which allows the upper pole to appear more full. Keeping away from the lateral chest during pocket dissection allows the implant to remain higher and prevents it from falling off to the side.

Yes, it is possible to do. A very small breast implant positioned slightly more in the upper portion of your breast will give you some superior pole fullness. However, once the breast implant has healed in position, you may find that overtime you have some contour regularities as your natural breast settles some, but the implant doesn’t move and continues to give you fullness in the upper pole as the tissues around it shrink. You should have a detailed consultation with your plastic surgeon about options for this and.

People have tried to put a little implant on top and the result may look good for a few months but when the large breasts such as yours will start to sag, the implant becomes like a lump and the rest of the breast will sag. Natural breasts are not full on top and that is a look that can easily be created with a push up bra.

The only real options would be a lift to gain more superior pole fullness. It does depend on "how" much fullness you're envisioning. Fat grafting is also an option to give more volume to the upper pole. An implant alone will give you volume, but there is a high chance that your nipple position low and will remain low with the implant in place. It is difficult to confirm any of this without an examination, so you should consult with a plastic surgeon so they can examine you.
