I recently went for a consult for a neck left and the doctor suggested additional procedures including fat transfer. I am incredibly thin (90-ish pounds) and he didn’t say where he would take the fat from. He also didn’t physically examine me (my face, neck, or areas where fat might be taken from). Is this typical that no physical exam is performed? I wouldn’t want to lose fat from my thighs or butt…Does the doctor usually discuss where fat would be taken from? This consult was incredibly brief.
