Eyelid surgery or brow lift? (Photo)

As we age, our eyelids naturally sag and droop. A combination approach would be best to see visible improvement. In terms of non-surgical treatment options, I would recommend a Chemical Brow Lift (using Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, or Jeuveau) and filler injections to rejuvenate the temples, eyebrow, eyelid, eye troughs, upper eye hollows, and forehead. I typically combine this with Ultherapy and thread lifting to lift the brow; RF and skin tightening laser treatments to stimulate collagen production and rejuvenate the skin; and laser or superficial RF devices for improvements in texture, color, and any crepey skin around the eyes as needed. Don't accept a zoom call as a real assessment of your issues. In studying your photos, you are already doing your own forehead lift. Your brain is attempting to compensate for what is going on inside your eyelids. You have a synfold upper eyelid configuration (innie eyelid). The innie eyelid is caused by a relative weakness or frank upper eyelid anterior levator central disinsertion. The anterior levator is the tendon that raises the upper eyelid. This tendon often slips off of its natural insertion in the upper eyelid. Long before it causes upper eyelid ptosis, it contributes to a hollow look in the upper eyelid and a compensatory eyebrow elevation. Repair of this is accomplished by an anchor blepharoplasty. A forehead lift will simply cause you a permanent upper eyelid hollow. I personally do not think putting hyaluronic acid fillers in the upper eyelid fold is a good option. I do recommend getting more than one opinion before deciding what makes sense. Your eyes can be your best feature.
