Is Ellacor like Plasma Pen? Will it lead me to have scabs on my face for a week?

Ellacor is really cool technology- it punches out or "cores out" tiny holes in the skin. The holes are so smalll that your body heals that hole without leaving a scar- amazing. The skin tightens as it heals. I think plasma pen is energy based and resurfaces also - this leads to a different healing pattern.
The protocol for face is 2-3 treatments spaced at least a month out. The healing length is adjustable by depth of the needle going in and the density of coring out within the 1cm area of treatment- 3 days is what is expected but can take longer if the depth and density are at the most aggressive levels. The mechanism in which the plasma pen works in comparison to Ellacor is completely different. Ellacor using micro-coring technology which basically extracts small columns on your skin, as your skin heals, there is a tightening effect. Every person responds differently to treatments and it is impossible to predict exactly how someone will heal from a treatment. It is very unlikely that you will not have scabs similar to those from the plasma pen. However, there will be tiny red marks that can look like scabs from micro-coring. This usually resolves within 5-7 days, some patients may have some prolonged pink/redness of the skin in treatment areas but that can easily be covered with make up. Hope that answers your question!
