I'm having a beard transplant in april, but I've been bleaching my hair, including the donor area due to my job, I was wondering if it was safe to do it or it my damage the follicles, thank you so much

Answer: Hair dye and transplant You should be safe bleaching the donor site two months before your transplant. That being said, you should ask the person doing the transplant for exact guidelines for care before and after the procedure... as your transplant surgeon should be the one directing all aspects of your care. Answer: Bleaching hair You are safe to bleach your hair right up to the day of surgery and can bleach it again as soon as 3 weeks after the procedure with no concerns.
