Thank you for your question. Your case seems likean infection. First thing I advise for you to do is to make sure you no longer wearearrings. Clean the earlobe gently with hydrogen peroxide and notewhether there is discharge from your ear (especially the color). However, the besttreatment is to go see your dermatologist. Most likely, you will require a weekof antibiotics and also make sure you give your ears a break from any earrings(including the clip on earrings!). It’s essential that you clean all of yourearrings in alcohol before you wear them again.

Yes, it's perfectly fine to re-pierce the ears after an earlobe reconstruction. In most cases I recommend re-piercing no sooner than 1 month after sutures are removed.
