Hi there, You can go away on a hot vacation and travel with the latisse. Studies have shown that latisse under hot temperatures (up to 50 degrees C) for a month time did not alter the concentration of the latisse.
Thank you for your question. LATISSE® was designed to be a convenient part of your daily routine, much like your makeup or skincare products. Just as you shouldn’t leave eyeliner or mascara baking in the sun for an extended period of time, you should avoid exposing LATISSE® to excessive and prolonged heat. That said, traveling with the product should be perfectly safe and not affect the product’s effectiveness.
It's recommended that it's stored at 37-77 degrees Fahrenheit. It's best at room temperature, because if it's too hot Latisse won't be as effective and also will lose effectiveness more quickly.
Yes, you can travel with Latisse. As long as you are not exposing the product to excessive heat for hours it should be perfectly fine. The warm climate should not affect the performance of the product as long as it is not left in the direct sunlight or heat for hours.
Yes you can travel with latisse no worries. I don't see any reason why you couldn't. Best, Dr. Emer.
The manufacturer recommends that Latisse be stored at a temperature between 36-77 degrees fahrenheit. So, you should try and keep your Latisse in a climate of that temperature range.
Yes, it is easy to travel with as temps don't change quality per studies and it is a very small bottle of liquid so it shouldn't be swiped at airport either.Travel with Latisse all you want to wherever you wish to go! It travels well! Enjoy those lush lashes,Dr. Amy
Allergan, the maker of Latisse, recommends you store the product between 37 and 77 degrees Fahrenheit. Exposing the medication to warmer temperatures during travel should not be a major problem, but do your best not to leave it in a hot car, or leave it in the hotel room. Do your best to keep it cool, but short periods won't be a problem.
Since Latisse is a prescription medication, following the manufacturer’s recommendation is advised. As with any medication, you do not want to compromise the efficacy of the product. Unless the bottle is in prolonged direct sunlight, then it should be fine.
Latisse is made of bimatoprost, water and various salts and a preservative. The main issue is evaporation and pH control. Warm temperatures for short periods are fine. Repeated heating/cooling over many days and weeks should be avoided. Latisse is only slightly soluble in water so alot of evaporation could present issues. Recommended storage is 2 to 25 C.
Thanks for your question. You should not have any problems using your Latisse after eye surgery as long as you are cleared by your ophthalmologist/surgeon. The medication is actually something originally used to decrease pressure in the eye, so should not raise the pressure. Best of...
Thank you for your question! If you apply your Latisse at night, you can go about your regular routine by the morning. I hope this helps!
In general generics are bio-equivalent to the name brands. There can be some differences in the inactive ingredients. I have not heard these complaints about this with generic Latisse in my own practice. If you are concerned you should ask your doctor for a prescription for name brand...
