Typically after a BA/BBL combination we have our patients sleep with their backs elevated, often in a reclining chair for most of the first week to allow gravity to help keep the implants low in the pocket and to decrease swelling. Sleeping on your sides is an option to decrease pressure on your fat transfer areas. Discuss this with your plastic surgeon.#BA#BreastAugmentation#BBL
I appreciate your question.I would recommend discussing this with your surgeon as each surgeon has their own specific set of post op instructions. The best way to assess and givetrue advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certifiedplastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery.Best of luck!Dr. Schwartz
This will depend upon your surgeon's preference and how each of the surgeries is performed. For my patients, you may sleep on your stomach.Kenneth Hughes, MDBeverly Hills, CA
The only options are to sleep on your sides or separate the procedures into two different dates.
Thank you for your question. Typically patients that have a procedure performed to both the front and back of their bodies find that alternating sides works the best for their comfort level after surgery. Talk to your surgeon about methods they use to help you remain comfortable.
You are probably going to have to sleep on your side. Place pillows in front and behind you so that you don't roll over in your sleep. Best, Dr. Nazarian
Thank you for your question. For patients in my practice I encourage them not to lie face down after breast surgery. One, this will be very uncomfortable. Two, it can certainly put pressure in places around the breasts that can dramatically alter your surgical results. And three, there is a chance that it could cause a wound healing problem. The best advice that I can give is to lie on your back or sides (as best as you can) in the early stages of healing. Best of luck to you!
Thank you for your question. I do not preform them at the same time because of this reason. When I do a breast enlargement, I have my patients sleep on their back. My BBL patients I have them sleep on their tummy. I hope you find this information beneficial and good luck in your recovery.
Thanks for your question about breast augmentation and bbl.The difficulty with some combined procedures is allowing for smooth recovery from each procedure. In general patients are able to alternate sleeping on their sides with the combination of procedures provided that they receive careful instruction and wear appropriate supportive garments. Make sure to discuss this issue with your board certified plastic surgeon.Best Wishes

Sounds like some sore of nerve irritation. You need to be seen in person to better appreciate the possible etiology.
It appears that your surgery was relatively recently. It can take 3-6 months for the breast to descend. They will come down somewhat and will most likely cover your scar. Give it a full six months to determine your results.
