Tim Col,Thanks for your question. The best way to avoid the smp from changing colors to blue or green, is to use only organic pigments like those formulated at Beauty Medical. These pigments have the safety of being organic and natural which means that the body will eventually metabolize it, but if the result is not liked it will eventually fade.
Scalp MicroPigmentation or SMP is basically a form of tattoo. All tattoos turn slightly blue or green under the skin. This slight blue green color is NOT the green / blue you see in bad SMP or tattoos. To avoid the extreme blue/ green color you have to make sure the clinic is reputable and the best quality pigments are used. One way for YOU to tell may be to ASK to see former patients.
The key to using SMP correctly is first get a flat scar (steroids are good at helping achieve this) then use the right pigments that are colored correctly and organic pigments.

Roco101, No it would depend on the smp procedure, whether you are looking to go down the permanent or temporary pigment route. We offer an all organic ink from Beauty Medical, which is a temporary solution. It would also depend on the shade of gray. If your hair is salt and pepper color that ...
Vputtas,It all depends on the healing in your case and hair growth. Our scalp trico-pigmentation uses 100% organic ingredients Beauty Medical supplied, hence safe. The needle depth is very shallow at only .5mm, so it should not damage the hair. All the best,Bernardino A. Arocha, MD
