One doctor's response on this site says, yes, it will be a problem--talk to your technician. I'm interested in more information--would light brown SMP now be a problem down the road? Also, has any doctor here SEEN SMP (applied as light brown) later--when the patient has gray or white hair? Thank you.

Chillpill898,Thanks for the question. We use 100% organic inks from BeautyMedical. It is completely safe. Advance stage male pattern men can have a trico-pigmenatation procedure to create a" buzz" look. It is fine to use in hair transplant recipients. It can increase "density" in thinning areas....
There are great hair transplant results and bad hair transplant results. Likewise there are great SMP results and bad SMP results. There is no way to tell why your have bad results.
