Am about 4 weeks post-op and recently had an eye exam where the optometrist had me sit down, i sat down for about 10mins i put my hands under my thighs in order to relieve some pressure but am afraid i might have put some pressure on my buttocks and am scared this might affect my results?up to this point i had not sat at all.

Generally speaking, by 3 weeks you are ok to put some pressure on your buttocks. However, the longer you wait the better your results. Please see your surgeon if you are still concerned.Regards,

Answer: Can I sit for 10 minutes after a BBL? Thank you for your question. It's important to avoid directly sitting on your butt for at least two weeks after surgery to ensure the best outcome. The longer you can avoid sitting, the better your ultimate outcome.You should also wear your garments for about four weeks. Minimize your activity (exercise) for about four weeks also. Most patients will take off about 1 or 2 weeks from work and will use special pillows to sit on when returning to work. Please follow up with your surgeon.
