3 weeks post op ( I had a BBL) and my stomach looks fat and bloated- is this normal? (photos)

Hello and thank you for your question. Yes, it s completely normal. You are still very early in the post-op process and it can take up to 4 months for the swelling to go down completely. A tight fitting compression garment with lipo-foam will help control the swelling. Post-op lymphatic drainage massages also help. A you can keep an eye on your salt intake as well.You actually look very good for three weeks! Just be patient and your results will turn out great.Best of look on your recovery,Dr. Miguel Mota

Thanks for the question and provided information as well. 
You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to 6 months to see your final results. At the stage you are in, swelling and bruising is normal, so i recommend to be patient. If you have any concerns, i suggest you to follow up close with your plastic surgeon.
And remember that it is recommended to use the compression garment 24/7 for the first 3 months, and after that, for 12 hours a day for 3 more months, to avoid that type of swelling and to get the best results.
