Scars on areola around nipples from previous piercings (Photo)

Question

I had gynecomastia surgery about a year ago (scars are next to invisible), prior to the surgery I had my nipples pierced which had caused some. scarring. Tried silicone sheeting for about a year with no change. My gynecomastia is gone but my nipples can still look 'puffy' from the raised scar tissue. It also seems to make them pucker in the middle. Is this something that could be excised or revised? Thoughts? Advice? Thank you in advance!

Thank you for your photos. Since your scars are over a year old, it is unlikley that they will continue to significantly improve on their own. They nipples can definitely be reduced while the excess tissue is removed. This can be done as an outpatient office procedure with local anesthetic only.
