Thank you for your question.Unfortunately C section scars can become thickened as they heal. This is most likely due to the increased levels of hormones at that time. The scar can certainly be revised surgically but if you are planning more children, I would recommend waiting until afterwards to revise the scar. There is a good chance it would happen again at the next delivery so I wouldn't revise it and then have it recur.
