Do I have to much scar tissue for another round of Lipo? (Photo)

PAL is power assisted liposuction and can really make a significant improvement in scar tissue from traditional liposuction. It beats up and takes out some of the scar tissue as well as fat.

I suggest VASER contouring with J Plasma to get the skin to tighten with the liposuction.  If this is all loose skin you may need some skin removal surgery but it appears that you will get improvement with high quality liposcupture by a well trained HD liposuciton physician.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Thank you for your question and photo. The photo is not helpful, but you can have another liposuction surgery. Obviously, traditional liposuction is very difficult in fibrous areas. In my practice, an increasing number of patients had previous liposuction. I use the VASER Hi Def lipo technique and the Power X rotating cannula to get the best results. See a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques for an in person consultation/evaluation. Hello sablejones, over time depending on the depth of suction, type of suction your body will truly form scar tissue as it heals the trauma inflicted by the suction cannula. There are different types of liposuction contraptions on the market, people that use VASER or smartlipo will admit it is the best for scar tissue and redo suction. The truth is as you gain more weight you will start to develop areas of fat in between the scars, the heat energy helps break the scars and the suction apparatus will suck the amount of fatty tissue to even things out. I would find a surgeon who is expert at vaser in your area and consult him or her about your options. all liposuction modalities carry a risk of contour irregularities, deformities and seromas.

Thank you for your photo. It does become more difficult with further surgery due to scar tissue, however if you still have some fat, then it is still possible to have improvement. Back fat is more fibrous and harder to remove than abdominal and flank fat in most patients. However, you may still benefit from revision, either with another round of traditional lipo done aggressively or with the addition of technology like the Vaser, which heats the fat prior to the fat being suctioned. The Vaser may have two beneficial effects:1. Breaking up tough, fibrous fat making it easier to remove2. Tightening the skin through the effects of heat.Go on some consults with board-certified plastic surgeons to see what makes sense in your individual case.

You absolutely have developed scar tissue, but what you have not considered is how VASER Liposuction is the DEFINITIVE technique to revise liposuction issues including under removed fat, skin redundancy, and scar tissue build up itself.
