Is it safe for me to have my BBL in 3 weeks if I was diagnosed with mono today? I was prescribed a 10 day steroid cycle

I would recommend you contact your plastic surgeon as well as your primary care doctor that cleared you for surgery and make them aware of your diagnosis and steroid medication treatment.  Then they can determine how to best move forward.

Thank you for your question. I would recommend that you visit with your plastic surgeon after you complete your course of steroids.  The Brazilian butt lift is a big procedure and a big stress to your body.  Your surgeon can assess you after your treatment for the mono and help determine whether to proceed with the scheduled time or consider postponing it.  

In my opinion you should wait "at least a  month" after finishing the steroids therapy for go under surgery, and check your white cells count to be sure they are normal again.Liver and spleen got to be check too, prior surgery, because they got bigger by the mono, and also the lymphatic  nodes. Mono is a systemic disease that affect different lymphatic organs, so you have to make sure total regression of the symptoms. Happy Holidays.

This is up to your surgeon, I would bring him/her all of my test results and see if they would still do the surgery.

I would recommend that you confirm that you are over you mono prior to performing any surgery that is not necessary; I would recommend you check with your primary care physician who needs to clear you for your surgery as well as your assigned anesthesiologist.
