I'm In good shape, 47, 5'5", 125 LB's, my butt has basically dropped and flattened from muscle laxity. Would BBL fat grafts work for me or would I have to get implants? What's realistic for someone my age as far as long term results?
Answer: BBL and Age Hello and thanks for the question. It is totally reasonable to have a BBL at your age and I frequently perform this procedure on ladies in your age group. As long as you are a candidate for the operation which includes a health assessment and a physical examination, a BBL could be the right procedure for you. Best of Luck...

Answer: How does the Brazilian butt lift work for women who are in their 40s-50s? Your age is not a contraindication for BBL nor for its results. Fat transfer to your buttocks can improve the laxity you are experimenting.Long terms results are good and predictable. Any way is difficult without pictures to see wether you have enough fat deposits to be harvest.I do not recommend implants at your age.Happy Holidays.

Answer: Age and BBL It is quite common for patients in your age group to opt for the BBL procedure. The BBL procedure involves harvest fat from areas of your body where there is excess fat and injecting that fat carefully into the central zone of your buttock. In addition, it involves liposculpting the buttock to facilitate a more rounded look. The common donor sites for this procedure is your posterior waist/flanks, lateral thighs, back, waist, and anterior tummy. Please visit with a board certified plastic surgeon to learn more about your options.Dr. BasuHouston, TX

Answer: BBL for women in their 40's Thanks for your question about BBL.In my practice I have operated on several women in their 40's for Brazilian Butt Lift and noticed that they do very well. The additional volume added with the fat grafting to the buttock can significantly improve the transition from the waist and hips to the buttock. Visit with a board certified plastic surgeon to receive a detailed exam and receive sound advice.Best WishesCheers, Steven Camp MD, #HappyCamperMD

Answer: BBL First, you need to be examined in person. If you have adequate donor sites, then perhaps you can achieve your goal.
