More hyaluronidase injections are needed and i typically then add fractional laser or radiofrequency to improve the wrinkles/swelling. I see this everyday in my practice and am constantly fixing this. I suggest filler injections with cannulas in the future. Best, Dr. Emer.
The underye is notoriously difficult to inject. If you are still concerned by bumps and ridges and an unnatural look, I'd recommend having additional hyaluronidase placed to remove the remainder of the objectionable filler. I hope this information is helpful for you.Stephen Weber MD, FACSDenver Facial Plastic Surgeon
Hi Helene. We fix concerns quite often with patients in your situation using Vitrase (Hyaluronidase). Proper use should dissolve all of the product but an in person evaluation is required to understand what areas you are still concerned about. I agree, it would probably be best to have all of the filler dissolved and then start over again after 2-3 weeks. Make sure your injector is experienced in treating this area and dealing with potential complications.
Thank you for your question. Your eyelids should be injected with hyaluronidase to dissolve the Restylane. Then you should have an in-office consultation with an eyelid specialist (oculoplastic surgeon) to determine a tailored treatment plan for you. I hope you find this helpful.
Best to obtain in person examination from an oculoplastic specialist. It appears there is both areas of hollowness and fullness present. It may require more reversing injection and/or filler injection elsewhere.
It appears you were over-corrected which is not uncommon in this area. You should go back and have hyaluronidase enzyme injected to remove it. if you want to try again, wait 2 weeks and then you can have it done again
It looks like there may be a small ridge that still needs to be dissolved. I would either continue to follow up with your injector or see someone else in person to assess your options. Best of luck
Some physicians save syringes and others don't. There are studies that show the material has no increased risk of infection if used multiple times. This is not the recommendation of the companies making the fillers. I suggest you trust your treating physician. Best, Dr. Emer.
I am not sure when you had your filler but it seems you had hyaluronidase 2 months ago. You must return to your doctor to assess what is happening.
Hi @jazelle! I recommend waiting 24-28 hours prior to wearing swimming goggles. I recommend seeking treatments from expert injectors who have the skill and experience to precisely inject fillers into treatment areas and avoid risks and complications. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
