I had restylane injected in my nose to fill a hump, Im still swollen but im quite happy with the results. However im really anxious and scared about it deforming or moving. I lead a pretty active life and I am a little but clumpsy, so is not uncommon for me to hit myself or bump into something. Also sea water, chlorine, steam etc are safe for restylane fillings?

Filler can in fact move or get damaged just like fat can from trauma, but it is rare to cause any issues unless there is a major event.  I suggest speaking to your physician if you are concerned.  Best, Dr. Emer.

After initial few weeks that you have to be careful, you should be Ok with just minor trauma to the area. But there is always possibility, with major trauma to the area that the products can become displaced and even exposed. So, you should be more careful but not to the point that you stop your active life or change your lifestyle. Just be aware. That is all.
