Buy a full syringe but only use half and save the other half for another time?

Question

Could i buy a full syringe or Restylane but have the doctor only inject half in my lips and I save the other half for next time I want it? Could i safely store it? Would a doctor even allow that? I know the PS offers to buy half syringes (that's what i usually do) but it's more expensive, that's why I'm curious about buying a full.

Some physicians save syringes and others don't.  There are studies that show the material has no increased risk of infection if used multiple times.  This is not the recommendation of the companies making the fillers.  I suggest you trust your treating physician.  Best, Dr. Emer.

It is unsafe to store used syringes of filler for several reasons:Risk of injection for youRisk of having someone else's syringe used on you if there was an errorRisk to staff and injector from syringes and needles being manipulatedFor these reasons, I will not "bank" filler for patients. It is just not worth the risk to you. Restylane comes in half syringe sizes so this is the better alternative for you   It is not customary to save half used syringes
