Best way to remove fat around jawline on a young patient? (photos)

Question

I'm 20 years old and I have fat around my jaw line that bulges out and gives me a very square looking jaw. When pull the fat back, my face has a much softer, rounder appearance. I have tried botox before but the problem just involves fat so it didn't change much. What would be the best procedure to go about this? I have seen the Power-V lifting procedure done in Korea and believe this is exactly what I need but I am not sure what the equivalent is here in L.A.

There are a number of procedures that can be performed alone or in combination, to shape a jawline. To choose the best course of action your physician should take X-Rays and perform an exam.  From there they will decide whether you need to have only the fat removed from your cheeks or whether the issue requires bone restructuring as well.  The "V" approach is available and could be a viable option for you and consulting with a board certified plastic surgeon will guide you in the best direction for your face to give you the most natural look. The key is whether the overlying soft tissue/fatty tissue is supported by a 'wider' jaw structure or not. The 'V' approach is reshaping both aspects with altering the bone contour and some liposculpture along the jawline. This is available. Xrays and an exam will help the surgeon determine the best course
