I had IPL done by a technician at a doctor’s office. One of the sessions the technician did the treatment just below my eyebrows and my eyebrows have not grown back in 2 years. The IPL was not intended for hair removal but to better my skin. My skin is not better and my eyebrows are extremely thin. Is there any way to grow back my eyebrow hairs?

Answer: Eyebrow loss 2 years ago Many laser and intense light treatments can irreversibly affect the growth of grafts. I generally recommend my patients to wait at lease 6 months. If there is not sign of growth at that time, they can plan for a surgical hair restoration as long as they have healthy skin and proper donor hair. Eyebrow hair transplant can be very successful if done by the right surgeon.

Answer: Brow loss post IPL I have seen this happen (I once did it to myself) and it has always grown back in 4-6 weeks. Minoxidil and REvitaBRow can help speed the process. Laser hair removal on a brow is more permanent, and THAT might require brow replacement surgery - but you should be okay. Just give it a little time.Good luck!
