I've never really liked my nose, but at the same time the changes I would like to make are quite small. Or at least they seem that way to my untrained eye. I'd like the bridge to be a bit more refined to minimize the slight bump and asymmetry. I'd also like to see the tip just a bit "cuter". More projected, refined, and perhaps lifted. I'm aware the "goals" pictures are a bit more petite than my nose, but could I translate the definition to my nose? Thanks for your time!
Answer: Non Surgical Rhinoplasty Candidate It is tough to change the shape of the tip of the nose with filler alone. Sometimes adding botox helps. I suggest a formal consult, you may only be a candidate for surgery but an in person consult is needed. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Non Surgical Rhinoplasty is great way to refine the nasal bridge and increase its tip projection. Dear dancin_blackbelt,Non-surgical rhinoplasty is an amazing advancement in facial aesthetic procedures. We’re currently able to make dramatic improvements to the nose in 15 minutes instead of 4 hours, which is the usual time it takes for a surgical procedure. And with non-surgical rhinoplasty you’d see the results immediately, versus around 9-12 months after surgery. So, yes, non-surgical rhinoplasty can be a quick and painless solution for refining the nasal bridge and defining the nasal tip.NS Rhinoplasty is great for the following situations:Revision rhinoplasty cases, which may have over-reduced the nose and require rebuildingNarrowing and refining the nasal bridgeAdding definition and projection to the nasal tipImproving minor concavities or asymmetries in the noseReducing nasal humpsTaking a look at your photos (thanks for including those!), you actually have a lot of good things going on with your nose! If you want to make a specific improvement, you might benefit from adding a little more definition to the mid-bridge and the nasal tip. Right now the supra tip is just slightly more prominent than the tip. This can give the nose a bulbous appearance.By the way, I noticed that you’ve chosen one of my cases as one of the goals for your nose! I'm so honored! I absolutely think we can achieve something similar with your nose. Feel free to contact my office. We have a lot of patients who visit us from Los Angeles. Good luck in your search for information, and stay beautiful!

Answer: Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty If the changes you seek are minor, you may be a candidate for non-surgical rhinoplasty. This is often good for small nasal humps and asymmetry; however, a proper evaluation is needed before commenting on its use for your nasal tip. Please consult with a board certified specialist in noses who can assist you with achieving the results you seek. 3-dimensional computer imaging can help you visualize what you may look like afterwards and serve as an important communication tool with your surgeon.

Answer: Filler May Well Be Appropriate Dear dancin_blackbelt in Los Angeles: It seems like you have a pretty decent nose, but if you are looking for some refinement, then yes, you need to consider fillers. Consider temporary and permanent. The only way to know is to have a consultation with a doctor. You need a full evaluation. The doctor needs to feel the tissues and have a sense of what can be done. There is a value to the consultations. Before you visit a given doctor, review his or her website. Look at a lot of before-and-afters. Look for patient comments on the various review sites such as RealSelf. You want to know as much as possible about the doctor’s practice. The most qualified doctors to consult with are those with the longest experience and the highest degree of specialization such that the predominant procedure in the practice is rhinoplasty. Best wishes, Robert Kotler, MD, FACS Over 4,500 nasal procedures performed
