What make some over projected chins look good on male? (photos)

Question

The ideal chin projection for a man should be right below his lower lip. But I find that if the chin is projected more than that, it can look good on some guys too (caucasian or not) but not always. Why is that? If I go with an XL implant, is it possible that it will end up being to big? I'm a male with heavy mid face but visible strong jawline, yet quite small compared to the cheekbone width

Prominent jawbones is a masculine feature that tends to indicate health and virility. But any feature that is excessively out of proportion with the rest of the face is viewed as unattractive
