Periareolar scars 9 months post op. Any laser scars therapy to improve the appearance of the scars? (Photo)

Thank you for this very often asked question.  In most communities, certainly LA, there are tattoo artists that practice medical tattooing.  A subsection of medical tattooing is the skill of matching areola pigment and tattooing it around the periphery of the areola to obliterate perioareolar scars.This tattooing will camouflage your scar, but unfortunately it will increase the size of your areola by a certain amount.  At this point, I think it is appropriate for you to call your plastic surgeon and see if he or she has a favorite medical tattoo artist to see if you can get a referral.  Tattooing of the areola makes perfect sense because the areola is nothing but pigmented skin. 

Hello,Your scars can be significantly improved and your areola can be permanently reduced, but only when you're ready to convert to a more formal lift.  You'll have the added benefit of a much more lifted breast and improved nipple areolar position on the breast mound. Best of luck!

surgeon. Online consultants are not the appropriate source of information for
you; your plastic surgeon should be your resource when it comes to
postoperative concerns.

This is important because every surgeon has different perspectives, the only
one that should be important is the one that operated on you ;)
