I think my face would look a lot better if my lower jaw would be more forward. But I believe it is kept back by my upperteeth that slope backwards? I would like to go from situation A to something like situation B Is this atainable without surgery? PS. I don't know if I'm telling myself things, but I also feel like the current situation makes it more difficult to hold correct posture, and that if i push my lower jaw forward (only posible when open) I breath more easilly. Does that make sense?

One of the hardest things to keep corrected is a space between the two upper front teeth...that is why your doctor glued the wire. I am going to bet that the wire is loose or stretched...otherwise the space would stay closed!Go see your doctor!
You will need to visit with an orthodontist to discuss correcting your midline and creating space to place an implant in the space of your missing lateral. This will give you the symmetry and normal appearance you desire.
Hi DMarie801, You don't have to worry, the elastic band is to help correct your teeth centreline. If there is a length discrepancy, it can be easily adjusted by the orthodontist. He or she will probably address it at a later time.
