How to correct a midline with missing right lateral incisor? (Photo)

Question

I'm missing my right lateral incisor, my teeth have shifted to the right and as a result my midline is off. I also have small gaps in between a few of my teeth, the biggest between my central incisor and my right canine. I went in to the dentist to see if veneers or something similar could correct the problem but he said I needed to correct the midline first. What treatment options do I have and about how long would it take? Thanks

You will need to visit with an orthodontist to discuss correcting your midline and creating space to place an implant in the space of your missing lateral. This will give you the symmetry and normal appearance you desire.

This is the reason why if teeth need to be extracted it is normally done evenly, one on each side.Fixing your midline could be either relatively easy or extremely hard.Most people don't really notice midlines until someone points it out to them...People seldom speak to each other directly face to face.So find out your options and accept the fact that sometimes there is not an ideal correction to every problem
