I recently got a BBL about 8 months ago and I am in tears of how my butt look! I had fat transferred to my buttock and hips. My right butt cheek is bigger than my left, and both are extremely out of proportion with my the rest of my body, especially for a short person like me who's 4ft 9In tall. My booty looks like two big uneven balloons & It does not look natural at all and I want to get it fix ASAP.

Answer: What are the options for a butt reduction? It is important for all patients to know and understand that asymmetry is normal with our body. Even before surgery no two aspects of our body are perfectly symmetrical. It is normal and a known entity that with fat transfer 30-50% of the solid fat volume transferred will be lost over the first 3-6 months after your surgery. This means the two buttocks can lose a different amount of fat and/or lose it in a different distribution, leaving you with even more asymmetry that you started with. This should all be discussed pre-op or may have been in the paperwork you signed as part of your consents for surgery. As far as the size of the buttocks, what is considered proportional or a good outcome varies from patient to patient. That is why having a good rapport with your surgeon and them spending time with you to understand your specific goals is important. Some patients want a more natural results while others want a dramatic result.
