Im on may Day 3 after my dorsal Augmentation Rhinoplasty..on Day 1 i was swelling around my eyes and now day 3 it went down on my cheeks and jaw..It is normal? Please Help..Thanks

Hello and thank you for your question.  It is very normal to be nervous before surgery.  I would ask your surgeon in regards to specific medications.  I also always tell my patients that if they are nervous, speaking with your surgeon again before your surgery date can be very reassuring.  Base...

Rhinoplasty is not a particularly painful or difficult recovery; you may still have swelling for up to one year.  The first couple of days will be the most difficult.  I have found that most of my patients can return to work in 7 to 10 days depending upon the procedures involved.  If you are not...

Hello,Thanks for your question. Tip graft resorption is quite rare. The most common scenario would be an infection that eats up the graft. Being that post-rhinoplasty infection is rare enough, graft resorption itself is rare enough. Good luck on the revision.Dr. Shah
